Description of the park
Introduction
he basic objective of the Kunovice-Panský dvůr Business Incubator project was to support start-up and innovative companies in the region. The project implementation began in August 2009 and took place in twelve stages. In September 2011, the Kunovice-Panský dvůr Business Incubator was launched. The successful implementation of the project managed to create a base for approximately 30 companies and, last but not least, to save a real estate cultural monument, which has thus become the dominant feature of the town of Kunovice. For the purpose of operating and managing the Kunovice-Panský dvůr Business Incubator, the town of Kunovice established a trading company. PIK-PD s.r.o. meets the requirements of the owners, especially in the area of active search for interested parties for non-residential premises, interested parties for renting advertising space, renting commercial premises, coordination and cooperation with the owner of the building in the performance of activities ensuring the management and protection of property. Due to the great interest from companies in the region, another Business Incubator Stará škola was built. The project „Expansion of the infrastructure space of the Business Incubator Kunovice – Stará škola“ was implemented in 2018-2020. The focus of companies located in the new premises of the business incubator is linked to the application domain 1.5.2. – New cultural and creative industries, digital content.
Advisory services
Consulting services are offered to start-up businesses. These services are mainly the elaboration of business plans, analysis of the economy of the future company, marketing strategies, connection with potential investors.
Innovation infrastructure
IWithin the innovation infrastructure, a new platform ZLINNOVATION was established, which brings together major companies from the Zlín Region. The collaborative platform of the innovation ecosystem of the Zlín Region offers a range of services that are offered across the business environment of the region. It is a new form of cooperation and exchange of experience, sharing of results and, last but not least, provision of services.
Cooperation with universities
Cooperation with VŠCHT Prague, VUT Brno, Akademie STING Brno and UTB Zlín. The work with students takes place within the framework of the competition My First Million and the Innovation Companies of the Zlín Region. In future years we will offer mediation of cooperation between students and companies in the preparation of bachelor and diploma theses, exhibitions and Open Days. Within the framework of the Innovation Infrastructure of the Zlín Region, professional seminars for students are being prepared.

The main nature of the activities is mainly in the areas of research and development within the mechanical engineering industry. The activity is based on cooperation with other research entities – universities, institutes, etc. and is based mainly on my professional experience and knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering and other manufacturing industries. Mechanical engineering is undoubtedly one of the most important sectors of the Czech economy. It is of key importance for the national economy both for the creation of GDP, the foreign trade balance and for the creation of jobs and overall employment. Mechanical engineering is linked to research, development and educational institutions, as well as a number of other services. Competitive mechanical engineering is of interest to domestic and foreign investors, and support for research and development is therefore key to maintaining and increasing its level with the effect of long-term stabilization of investments. This is interdisciplinary research, including not only mechanical engineering itself, but also closely related fields of materials research, energy and information technology, in addition to technical chemistry, high-current electrical engineering and microelectronics. The Czech Republic has good conditions for this type of qualified research, given both by tradition and by the current very dynamic development. In the area of products, this mainly concerns the design and optimization of the use of macromechanical, micromechanical and electronic elements with the aim of achieving much higher energy and environmental efficiency, which is key for the target years 2015-2020.
