Description of the park
Introduction
The KANOV business incubator is located in the Karlovy Vary Region. The headquarters are in Karlovy Vary, with branches in Ostrov and Cheb.
The aim is to build an interconnected network of innovation infrastructure in the Karlovy Vary Region as one of the conditions for further development of the Karlovy Vary Region’s innovation potential.
The incubation function consists in supporting start-up entrepreneurs and in supporting the innovation activities of existing small and medium-sized enterprises by providing comprehensive services using allInnovative entrepreneurship training
Education for innovative entrepreneurship is ensured by close cooperation with the Karlovy Vary Business Development Agency (KARP) and the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Karlovy Vary Region (KHK KK).
KARP is a contributory organization established by the Karlovy Vary Region. It focuses exclusively on supporting the increase in the competitiveness of companies in the region. He is the main bearer of the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of Competitiveness of the Karlovy Vary Region (SRKKK) and the coordinator of activities in the field of business development in the region.Advisory services
An important part of the business incubator’s services is a counselling system for SMEs. The operator of the incubator does not have the capacity to provide services on its own, so it provides all these services in the form of outsourcing.
The incubator operator provides consulting services in the following areas:
– Business consulting (starting a business, creating a business strategy, tax and accounting, finance, human resources, marketing)
– advising on the processing of applications for fundingInnovation infrastructure
The optimal structure of the innovation infrastructure of the Karlovy Vary Region is based on the experience of the preparation and further development of the System of Innovative Entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic and the Regional Innovation Infrastructure.
An analysis of the current situation indicates that the economic backwardness of the Karlovy Vary Region is accompanied by minimal innovation activity of local companies. This is a reflection, among other things, of the absence (except in exceptional cases) of research and development activities in the region. 1) Cooperation with universities – UWB – Cooperation in the implementation of the Innovation Voucher, internships for students in terms of their field of study, knowledge transfer to strengthen the competitiveness of entrepreneurs, especially by helping to innovate a product, process or service.
2) Cooperation with KARP – business breakfast project – support and convergence of successful people, support for the education of young people, as well as negotiations on support for the education of young people for entrepreneurship.
