The new Czech-English publication “Science and Technology Parks in the Czech Republic” 2012 prepared her team of authors led by Paul Švejda in cooperation with the Director of STP” in the Czech Republic. Contains information about STP supported by the PROSPERITY I program (OPIE) and STP which is under construction in the PROSPERITY II (OPEI).
The publication is co-financed by the European Fund for Regional Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. It is a Czech-English version which comes in both printed form and color in electronic form on CD.

Over 4000 sq m of high standard office space and light production space for research and innovation activities soon available in Pilsen, Czech Republic
The foundation stone laying ceremony at the end of March 2011 started the next phase of the development of the Pilsen Science and Technology Park located in the West Bohemian region. By April 2012, new office and light-industrial units will be built in seven buildings in the Borska Pole Municipal Industrial Park, one of the most successful development zones in the Czech Republic.

The publication European research and development in the Pilsen region was prepared within the project “Regional Contact Organisation for West Bohemia”, coordinated by the University of West Bohemia with BIC Plzeň and ŠKODA RESEARCH as project partners. The publication presents selected projects of international cooperation in research and technological development with participants from the Pilsen region.

The Science and Technology Parks Association of the Czech Republic (henceforward STPA CR), which initiated its activity on July 27, 1990, is issuing this Czech-English publication with the objectives of making higher-level awareness of science and technology parks (henceforward STPs) in CR, contributing to better quality of their activities, improving operations of the STPs National Network and of the international cooperation at three basic levels – associations, individual STPs and innovative companies associated with STPs.
